My dog recovered from Liver shunt surgerya few months ago. She would not TOUCH dog food either before or after the surgery. I always homecooked for her. Now that I am done with school and starting work and have another dog, I wanted the convenience of dog food but dreaded giving them commercial dog food...until I met a dog store owner that gave me a can of halo to try (yes he gave it to me for free). Well needless to say I went back and now he is the number 1 store I go to to buy stuff. This stuff is awesome. Smells good, makes me feel good to get it. I am currently trying to get them to use cans without the liner coat that they currently use (and human food sometimes uses these). There is currently alot of debate about BPA in these liners...and with my dog already really sick I want to keep her as healthy as possible. So until they go BPA-free, I am going to stick with the dry food and homecook wet!

We have 3 yorkies. My youngest daughter has tried tons of dog food brands until she found Halo. Now it's the only dog food we feed them. They get so excited when we start to mix the bowls for them. There is no more wasted dog food, they love it so much they always lick their bowls and then go check out if anyone else has leftovers in theirs. Usually not! Thank you for an amazing pet product.

I have a jack russell terrier too. He's almost 12 years old and still has the energy as a puppy! Unfortunately from time to time he jumps and lands wrong and winds up hurting himself. It's impossible to keep him from jumping. The only thing my dog would eat is "mighty dog" which is full of fat. This last time when he hurt himself from jumping and could barely walk, my vet had him on a course of steroids...thank God he's okay, but he needs to lose about 3 pounds. I love Ellen Degeneres and I adore her love for animals. She now owns "halo" dog food and I am going to try it for my dog and hope and pray that he likes it!
