Does your dog long to accompany you on an all day shopping spree? Think your choosy canine would like to select his own pet supplies? It may sound far-fetched, but four-legged visitors to Southern California’s Fashion Island are afforded just that privilege, as the open-air shopping center is possibly the most dog-friendly mall in the country.

It is not uncommon to find people pushing dog strollers instead of the human variety in this upscale Orange County plaza that allows pet parents to bring their pampered pooches just about anywhere – including inside shops like Bloomingdale’s and Neiman Marcus. Dogs are offered the very best on Fashion Island, which boasts everything from stores that host puppy fashion shows to restaurants that serve dog treats along with the human fare. Seems like life’s not too “ruff” for OC pups!
