THANK you all for giving old Mulan Shar-Pei a spotlight. She has also been a herding-dog for the occasional domestic ferret who escapes outside. For some reason known only between each of them, the escapees always go to visit Mulan and we often find the missed ferret with her, three different times in three winters we've found the missed ferrets sleeping on Mulan's furry back while she's turned her head to lick on them (sleeping on her warm furry back).
Mulan is a purebred Shar-pei, but one of those "throwbacks" that can never be entered into a dog show. However she's been a PERFECT Sanctuary dog!
