Rescued Beagles in Need of Homes

September 11th, 2008 by Mira

Hundreds of dogs were rescued from a Missouri puppy mill by The Mill Dog Rescue Network, an organization that rescues, rehabilitates and finds homes for retired mill dogs.

The Colorodo-based rescue group made a deal with the dogs’ owner to take them in. Officials report that the dogs likely would have been killed had the group not taken them in.

Many of the dogs that were rescued were sick and needed care, due to having been kept in very poor conditions. There are currently 28 of the beagles being cared for by Arizona Beagle Rescue. Workers at the rescue group believe that all of them will survive and are currently seeking homes. If you are interested, please visit the Arizona Beagle Rescue website.
