i am truely glad that the shelter dogs and cats are recieving good food… but lately when i place a special order at earth fare for halo. it is taking months to recieve the orders for halo or their products or not at all. i bought the last two bags and over 5 months ago i aske to order the biggest bag halo carries still not in and i gave my name and phone# and go weekly to see if my order has arrived. when i ask about it all i get is it will be here well i know alot of people who have gone to another brand of food as it takes over a mont to stock the shelves with halo. someone that works at earth fare said most all that is being made at the small factory is now going to shelters did not ask the worker their name.i have ran into a health problem w/ my dogs from switching to another brand of food during the time they run out as earth fare only will carry the 4 lb bags years ago they carried the big bags no longer. as i have adopted 4 other dog to my two i had. i ordered the dip well five months latter it still is not in the store. and while earth fare was out of halo dog food and the vitamin mineral mix for over 1 month 4 1/2 weeks. my dog have gotten fleas never in all the years have i ever had a dog with fleas but now i do. and i am not happy as having to use different brands until halo arrives. now i am going to have to take my carpet up and i have one dog who has seizures if i use advantage or frontline as i found out at the groomers they would not groom unless you let them apply the flea med and both times she had a seizure and almost died that is why with my adopted dogs i wanted to use the halo dip so this would not happen but 5 months latter it still is not in and now i have a big problem. one of the people at earth fare that was a customer said halo only wants to make a big name and ytou can not find anything now that the shelter theme is going on for pets now i am starting to feel this way and all the loyal customers are turning to other brands.i know the shelter dogs and cats need healthy food but our pets are hurting and some are turning away because it isn’t in the store when needed.i am so very upset that i sat down and just cried for my pets.i am not a young person and i have had to go back to work to pay for new flooring and so very affraid that it to will get the fleas into the new carpet if only i got what i orderedover 5 months ago. this has left a very bad taste in my mouth that i heard the reason is halo is slow to deliver due to shelters are getting all being produced at this time. my pets are suffering badly as i wanted something safe to use and its like my pets are not important or my money is any good. i am now looking for another company as i don’t feel that being loyal means anything. you don’t know how many people just bring their new baby home i would push halo and they would buy it and how many family member have changed to halo and friends after they saw my dogs now they do not look so healthy like before the store ran out of vitamins mimeral mix and food at the very same time for 4 1/2 weeks and i had to use another food. not happy at all! i have six dogs and i bought the very last 4 lb bags at earth fare will not last long and when you can’t find what you neeed when the dog needs it how can you stay loyal and i did buy a case of the vitamin mineral mix but at 13.00 for 4 lbs i would rather pay 100.00 for 30 lbs. but 5 months and it isn’t in or the dip or the odor and stain remover. but after 5 months my new dog is house trained .maybe you need to see how regular loyal pet parents feel as their pets are suffering during the rush to shelters and pet parents are leaving halo… maybe the shelter animals when adopted will have a pet parent that will keep them on halo or maybe not but halo has customers who are getting upset for their own pets try to understand how my pets are feeling as i tried to get the very best but can’t and i will not put them on halo then when it runs out at the store another brand that hurt them very much and they do not look as well now and the adopted kids are starting to look as they did when i adopted them. i am starting to feel its best to find something that is there all the time and not switching them . i really don’t want to leave halo but what do i do?i need help with my dogs they are all i have in this world and these 2 4 lb bags will not last long with six dogs. and i am washing them w/ cloud nine and too often to keep the fleas at bay. if only i had recieved my order in a timely manner and 5 months latter no order nothing…. how can i feel any other way. i am very worried upset and now very disappointed that when i go to check to see if my order has arrived… i see only two bags of 4lbs and i bought it now i wonder if i did the right thing maybe i should have gotten another brand and realize halo is not going to be there but every so often two years ago you could find any size bag and can food all the time at earth fare and i was so glad as i drove out of state to buy it. now i am older and i have a bad heart and sle lupus and i am working and very tired trying to get things straight. fleas and it wouldn’t even be the flea season if it had came when ordered. do you understand how i feel? i don’t want to make anyone mad but if i don’t speak up who can talk for my dog’s? i am worried and don’t have time to wait i need help now for my dear sweet dog’s… please can you tell me what to do . i will not order on line i am old and set in my ways someone stole my card # the last time i did that will not again it should be in the store as it use to be.
