ASPCA SPONSORED THE STRAY CAT ALLIANCE “I SPAYED LA” COMMUNITY DAY EVENT

dsc_5928The Stray Cat Alliance Community Day in March 2013 held an “I SPAYED LA” big spay and neuter event in South Central Los Angeles, CA. Their mission is to educate and empower communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy and valued.

The Stray Cat Alliance and the ISLA program to date have spayed and neutered over 4000 cats in South Central Los Angeles. Halo and Freekibble.com are proud supporters of this event, donating 4,800 meals of Halo Spot’s Stew for cats.

The ASPCA is also making a significant investment in this community to address the high rate of euthanasia in southern California.
