The Halo Pet Foundation was already thrilled to sponsor the 2015 Human Animal Interaction Conference, Growing Together: Kids, Animals and Sowing the Seeds of Resiliency.

However, after looking through the conference‘s Flickr albums, we’re even more proud.

There were two albums with photos from attendees touring Green Chimneys in Brewster, NY and enjoying sessions throughout the conference on April 24 and 25.

Here are a few of our favorites!

Attendees enjoyed demonstrations of skills and of love.

Some got to goof around a bit during a tour of the farm.

People made new friends.

And of course, there were healthy Halo snacks for attendees to bring home to their pets.

We were incredibly touched by this sign where a child wrote that his social worker helps him grow.

We believe that not only do social workers play an essential role in helping kids, but that pets help us all grow to be the best people we can be. Halo is honored to be a part of helping pets be their best possible selves. Humans and animals interact and help each other in amazing ways. We’re sure that Human Animal Interaction conferences for years to come will highlight and explore just how interconnected we truly are.
