As part of Halo, Purely for Pets’ pledge to donate over 1.5 million meals of its pet food each year to animals in need, Halo, delivered thousands of pounds of much needed food to shelters and rescues up and down the California coast.
From August through October 2015, Halo, in partnership with Freekibble.com and GreaterGood.org, delivered its pet food to the following shelters and rescues in California totaling approximately 1,520 bowls of nutritious food for hungry dogs and cats.

— Pets Lifeline, Sonoma
— Cat House on the Kings, Parlier
And in partnership with Pet Food Express, Halo also donated 2,939 bowls of our dog and cat food to San Francisco Animal Care and Control and Marine Humane Society in Novato, during this same timeframe.
Halo is thrilled to have the opportunity to help these California shelters and rescues prepare their dogs and cats for the loving forever homes they deserve, with a boost from 4,460 bowls of our high quality, all natural pet food—because a healthy, happy pet is a more adoptable pet!
