Halo Pets Donation for Nevada Humane Society

Halo is proud to partner with Freekibble.com and GreaterGood.org to achieve noticeable results for shelter pets together.

Here is a recent report from the Nevada Humane Society:

Over 220 economically challenged families receive pet food through the Pet Food Assistance program each month, enabling them to keep their beloved cats and dogs. Each client received about 15-20lbs of pet food each month—a significant impact for each of these families. The program serves Reno and surrounding areas, and helps to reduce the number of animals who may be relinquished to Nevada Humane Society.

The Halo Cat Food donation was also used for cats currently residing at Nevada Humane Society, and helped feed healthy, quality meals to 500 cats in our care.

Ellie, a Reno resident and senior citizen, depends on her pet cat, Lucy, for emotional support and companionship. Ellie recently faced some economic hardships and learned of Nevada Humane Society’s Pet Food Assistance program. Ellie was close to surrendering her beloved friend simply because she could not afford to feed her. Ellie requested assistance and is now able to keep Lucy—a benefit for both of them. This story is just one of many to demonstrate a successful outcome made possible through the support of GreaterGood.org and Halo Cat Food all while supporting Nevada Humane Society’s lifesaving efforts.”

Thank you, Nevada Humane Society for making a noticeable difference for pets in your community!
