Next Flight! Freekibble Flight to Freedom Leaves Phoenix with 145 Pets

Clockwise: Andy – Discarded when owner’s landlord denied them having a pet; Precious – Found in a box alongside a busy highway; Lugnut – Abandoned at a truck assembly factory ; Holly – Rescued from a backyard breeder who threw her out because he couldn’t sell her.

On August 13th, a flight is scheduled to leave Phoenix, Arizona carrying 145 loving, healthy pets from Southern states’ overcrowded shelters – to shelters in the Northwest where they’re likely to be quickly adopted! Most of these dogs and cats wouldn’t survive if they don’t make this flight.

Last month, Freekibble Flight to Freedom left Lafayette, Louisiana saving 150 pets.

In shelters across the country, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized just because the shelters are overcrowded. In other areas, shelters have a shortage of adoptable pets. Freekibble and GreaterGood.org are working with Wings of Rescue to save homeless pets by flying them to shelters where they’re likely to be quickly adopted! Wings of Rescue flew 10,000 pets to new homes last year alone!

Halo Pets will be donating 10,000 bowls of Halo kibble with WHOLE meat (and NO “meat meal” of ANY kind) to shelters receiving the animals — because WHOLE meat makes a whole lot of difference!

Don’t forget to play Freekibble.com to help feed hungry pets and as always, Halo will donate a bowl to a shelter every time YOU buy. Thank you for helping #HaloFeeditForward.
