You may remember Kilala, the Siamese/Calico beauty who recently took top honors as a Halo Pet of the Week. She just received her goodie bag, and her mom was nice enough to send us some photos of Kilala with her prize. We thought they were just too adorable not to share with everyone!

Who doesn’t like a nice nap after a good meal? We hear Kilala especially enjoys the chicken recipe!

Sorry to disappoint any future Pet of the Week winners – your goodie bag will not come with a Kilala inside!

This week’s Halo pet is positively pugnacious! Meet Rocky Bo, a cute little guy who will celebrate his second birthday at the end of this year. Rocky Bo is a very friendly boy who loves going on shopping sprees at PETCO and visiting with his buddies at Pug Meetups every month.

This boy also enjoys vacationing at the New Jersey shore, where he likes to run on the beach and dig up seashells. When he puts his little head down to smell the sand, he often comes back up with a sand mustache, which his mom was quick to snap an adorable picture of!

Rocky Bo was a Valentine’s Day surprise for his mom, which is very appropriate since he loves everyone, humans and animals alike. His mom says he makes everyone laugh and is the type of dog that can always put a smile on your face. We think Rocky Bo is a real charmer and a great pet of the week!

Congratulations to this week’s winner, Kilala! A sweet and outgoing girl, this beautiful blue-eyed kitty is a cherished part of her family. While she can often be a bit wild, running around in circles and climbing trees, she’s also a sweetie who loves to be brushed and enjoys snuggling with people.

Though she is now a healthy five-year-old cat, Kilala had a difficult start in life. Her mother, Patches, turned up on her future family’s doorstep covered in car oil, starving, and pregnant. She was taken in and cared for, but when the kittens were born, Patches refused to let Kilala nurse, which often happens to the runt of the litter. The tiny kitten had to be bottle-fed and has since become the baby of her family.

Kilala’s new mom feels very lucky to have her, saying that this special kitty fills everyone’s life with laughter and joy. We think she’s the perfect choice for pet of the week and hope she enjoys her Halo goodie bag!

Meet Ziggy, this week’s adorable winner! This puppy had a rough start — taken from his mother at just three weeks old, he couldn’t even chew dog food at first and didn’t really know how to socialize with other dogs. However, over the following few months, he persevered and turned into a little ball of energy. His new mommy adopted him at four months old, having faith in little Ziggy, even though she was told that he was very hyper and not smart enough to train.

And boy was she right to believe in this pup! A recent obedience school graduate, the now 10-month-old Ziggy has been making his mom proud ever since. He gives lots of cuddles, loves to play with his squeaky toys, and will try just about anything to get a tasty treat. In fact, he has been known to attempt to trade his toys for a handout, once trying to secure a green bean by offering up his favorite toy, as if to say, “I will give you this awesome toy for just one tiny little bean.”

Ziggy will soon be receiving some treats of his own, with his Halo goodie bag on its way. This cute little pooch sure does deserve it!

Three cheers for Mulan, our Halo Pet of the Week! Mulan is an adorable Shar-Pei, who resides at The Ferret and Dove Sanctuary in Florida.

This wonderful girl hasn’t had it easy, as she nearly lost her life when her former owner was forced to give her up. The local pound had a policy of destroying breeds that were deemed aggressive, and unfortunately, Mulan’s breed would have fallen into this category.

The Sanctuary rescued her though, and she couldn’t be a sweeter girl! They call Mulan the peacemaker-dog, and she is said to be very protective of the doves and rabbits that she lives with. She even wants to go outside to be with her birds when there’s bad weather. We’re proud to present Mulan as our Pet of the Week and hope she enjoys her Halo goodie bag!
