PR NEWS NAMES #HALOFEEDITFORWARD AT BARK WORLD A SOCIAL MEDIA AWARD FINALIST

5lq14xQhCelebrating “the best of the best,” PR News named our #HaloFeeditForward at BarkWorld Expo campaign one of four finalists for Instagram marketing campaigns. The other finalists in our category are Prudential, the City of Houston, and FreshDirect.

We’re honored to be named a finalist for this campaign conducted in partnership with BarkWorld during their November 5-7, 2015 expo. BarkWorld explores social media, technology, and lifestyle issues for pet parents, influencers, and businesses.

Attendees include dog and cat bloggers, social media superstars, and celebrities! It’s a fantastic event hosted by Lumina, the parent of Dogster.com and Catster.com. This year it’ll be October 12-16 in Atlanta, GA. Will we see you there?

For our #HaloFeeditForward campaign at BarkWorld Expo in 2015, it rested on a lot of donations that you made possible! First we donated a bowl of food for each conference registrant.

Then we donated a bowl for each photo shared with our “Rescue Hero” photo frame. This resulted in Freekibble.com and GreaterGood.org donating 10,000 bowls of Halo Spot’s Stew to pets in need because of that one weekend!

We’re so grateful for the enthusiasm of everyone at BarkWorld and love that the bloggers spread the word so more people could get in on the fun. And, of course, we’re grateful to you without whom none of these donations would be possible.

Didn’t catch the photos on Instagram at the time? You can still see some of the photos on Facebook. You’ll even spot some celebrities such as the stars of Animal Planet’s Tree Top Cat Rescue, Olympic silver medalist and rescue hero Gus Kenworthy and Pit Boss star Shorty Rossi.

Want to get in on the fun? You can still Share the Love for pets and Halo when you share your photos. Just don’t forget to use #HaloFeeditForward when you share your Halo pet on Instagram!
