The war on drugs has a new secret weapon: Sadie the Labrador retriever.
According to WLWT-TV, Sadie recently became part of the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force. But before she joined the team, her future was uncertain.
The drug force adopted Sadie from the Cincinnati Lab Rescue, which had recently pulled her from the Clermont County Humane Society.
“I remember her coming into our care as a very depressed and sad dog,” said Erin Skie, executive director for Cincinnati Lab Rescue told WLWT. “But we knew she was going to have another purpose in life.”
