The Arizona Pet Project’s primary goal is preventing pet homelessness by keeping families with pets together. Oftentimes, pet owners can’t afford to care for their animals and they surrender them at shelters. They support families by keeping their pets healthy and safe.
On March 10th, the Arizona Pet Project will be hosting the 15th Annual HERO Awards, a fundraising event to save even more lives through the shelter prevention programs in Maricopa County. The event is also an opportunity to recognize local animals who have proved their courage, ability to overcome the greatest of challenges and their will to live. One of these local animals is Stella the Pitbull who will be receiving the Loyal Companion Award. She is being honored for providing comfort and happiness to a family who was affected by cancer and depression.
Thank you Stella and The Arizona Pet Project for making a WHOLE lof of difference for pets in your community.
